Business Description
The initial building that stands on the site that is now the Franklin Funeral Home was built in 1923 by Andrew Hoffman, a retail Lumber dealer, as a homestead for his family. In 1957 Joseph Ongaro acquired the former Hoffman mansion and renovated it as the Franklin Funeral Home in 1961. A second expansion and renovation was made in 1978.
Over the years, the Franklin Funeral Home has been a source of comfort to many families in their time of need. Bruno Caracciolo and his son Bruno - third and fourth generation funeral directors - have been serving the Franklin Square Community, and surrounding areas.
